Maybe I’m an asshole. The annoying conversations going on Sunday night, Bookworm, non-smoking section:
“You know what it is about lesbians that look butch? They subconsciously want to be men. They want women, they want to be men.”
“I teach art. Sometimes the kids want to do whatever and do all this crazy stuff but they have to understand there’s a formula. Sometimes you do stuff and discover something. But you can’t teach that. I think art can exist without creativity.”
Uhhh. Huh. Thanks, expat community, for these nuggets of wisdom.
